What should we do? There is nowhere to step in the warehouse!&#8221; The Warehouse Manager said, &#8220;Oh my God. There was no such arrival of goods.&#8221;\nThe Warehouse Manager immediately called the Purchasing Manager and started talking in an angry voice.\nThe containers had arrived for the company, had been delayed because of the wait in the Suez Canal, and he didn&#8217;t know about all this.\nWhen he found out that it was the goods that the boss wanted, he didn&#8217;t push any further and called the warehouse supervisor and said in an angry and exasperated tone, &#8220;If necessary, make space in the warehouse by putting the pallets on the floor 4-5 rows on top of each other and put the incoming goods there. Do I have to teach you?&#8221;    <\/p><\/div>\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-stackable-text stk-block-text stk-block stk-456a060\" data-block-id=\"456a060\"><style>.stk-456a060 .stk-block-text__text{font-weight:600 !important}<\/style><p class=\"stk-block-text__text\">Or let the scenario go like this.<\/p><\/div>\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-stackable-text stk-block-text stk-block stk-d82af08\" data-block-id=\"d82af08\"><p class=\"stk-block-text__text\">The warehouse manager said to the warehouse supervisor on the phone, &#8220;Oh my God. We are used to it now,&#8221; he said.<\/p><\/div>\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-stackable-text stk-block-text stk-block stk-bf961b1\" data-block-id=\"bf961b1\"><style>.stk-bf961b1 .stk-block-text__text{font-weight:600 !important}<\/style><p class=\"stk-block-text__text\">Flexibility is the ability to change and adapt to change in a short time with little cost and effort.<\/p><\/div>\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-stackable-text stk-block-text stk-block stk-da634a1\" data-block-id=\"da634a1\"><p class=\"stk-block-text__text\">Flexibility is very important for Supply Chain and in my opinion, flexibility is the most important thing for agile supply chain.  <\/p><\/div>\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-stackable-text stk-block-text stk-block stk-c5d175c\" data-block-id=\"c5d175c\"><p class=\"stk-block-text__text\">In normal times, managing supply chain and logistics is actually a piece of cake.\nIf there is an emergency or unexpected situation, i.e. something outside of routine operation or planning, managing the supply chain and logistics becomes more difficult.\nManaging this, or rather adapting to these changes, requires ingenuity.\nThat skill is flexibility and the agility that comes with flexibility.\nIn this way, companies can change and adapt to change in a short time with little cost and effort.      <\/p><\/div>\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-stackable-text stk-block-text stk-block stk-a2aa831\" data-block-id=\"a2aa831\"><style>.stk-a2aa831 .stk-block-text__text{font-weight:600 !important}<\/style><p class=\"stk-block-text__text\">Warehouse-driven change and adapting to change is not as easy as transportation.  <\/p><\/div>\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-stackable-text stk-block-text stk-block stk-9ffab84\" data-block-id=\"9ffab84\"><p class=\"stk-block-text__text\">Flexibility in transportation processes is easy. There are many alternative solutions that you can implement in a short time. For example, you can change the type of transport, you can use different means of transport, you can rent any number of trucks from the market in a short period of time, or you can buy several trucks in a short period of time if you are very tight.  <\/p><\/div>\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-stackable-text stk-block-text stk-block stk-2f6324b\" data-block-id=\"2f6324b\"><p class=\"stk-block-text__text\">On the other hand, storage may not be as flexible as transportation.\nBecause you cannot find the most suitable warehouse when you want, you cannot find the most suitable warehouse where you want, you cannot change the size of your warehouse when you want and you cannot change the location of your warehouse when you want because there are not enough warehouses for logistics services, it is difficult and laborious to find suitable warehouses, warehouse investment is expensive, warehouse investment takes a long time.\nIn short, warehouse-oriented change and adaptation to change is not as easy as transportation.    <\/p><\/div>\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-stackable-text stk-block-text stk-block stk-e8817ac\" data-block-id=\"e8817ac\"><p class=\"stk-block-text__text\">For example, the purchasing department bought 1,000 pallets of raw materials at a very cheap price (should be used in production within a month) BUT there is no space in your warehouse and you can&#8217;t find a warehouse for 1 month, or you are going to move from your warehouse in \u00c7orlu to Kad\u0131k\u00f6y on Valentine&#8217;s Day when e-commerce customers&#8217; &#8220;desire for much shorter delivery times&#8221; is increasing rapidly, or where will you put the equipment and materials for a 3-month project in Mu\u015f, or the sales department launched a 15-day discount campaign but there is no space in your warehouse for products coming off the line and from suppliers!&#8230;  <\/p><\/div>\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-stackable-text stk-block-text stk-block stk-0852d25\" data-block-id=\"0852d25\"><style>.stk-0852d25 .stk-block-text__text{font-weight:600 !important}<\/style><p class=\"stk-block-text__text\">Flexibility for storage spaces is provided by &#8220;on demand&#8221; storage.<\/p><\/div>\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-stackable-text stk-block-text stk-block stk-58cc783\" data-block-id=\"58cc783\"><p class=\"stk-block-text__text\">Companies can benefit from flexibility with &#8220;on demand&#8221; storage.\nFlexibility for storage areas is provided by on demand storage.\nThose who need storage in any location, at any time, in any size, can find storage space in the location, time, duration (date range), size and features they want with &#8220;on demand&#8221;
